This Privacy Notice applies to the WebLynx service operated by ProLinx Media(“ProLinx Media”, “we”, “us”, “our”). ProLinx Media acts as the data controller for personal data processed through WebLynx (weblynx.online).

2. Personal data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, login credentials.
  • Site content: business name, logos, banners, item descriptions, contact details you publish.
  • Customer enquiries: messages submitted via contact forms on sites you create.
  • Usage and device data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps.
  • Support data: messages you send us when requesting help.

3. How we use your data

  • Creating and operating your account and sites — performance of a contract.
  • Providing customer support — performance of a contract.
  • Securing the service, preventing fraud and abuse — legitimate interests.
  • Improving the product (aggregated analytics) — legitimate interests.
  • Sending service announcements — legitimate interests.
  • Marketing communications, where applicable — consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Complying with legal obligations — legal obligation.

4. Who we share data with

  • Service providers / subprocessors: hosting, database, email delivery, and analytics vendors that help us run WebLynx.
  • Merchant of Record (Paddle): Paddle.com Market Limited is our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle processes payments, handles subscription management, tax compliance, invoicing, and customer billing enquiries.
  • Professional advisers: legal, accounting, and compliance advisers, where necessary.
  • Authorities: where required by law or to protect our rights.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers are located outside your country of residence. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

6. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
